Impose Financial and Military Sanctions on Israel for War Crimes

When will the United Nations apply international laws against israel? When will the same law makers who readily impose financial and military sanctions on African, Arab and Asian Nations without thought – do the same to israel?

Why are these laws and sanctions applied? Why are you blind when it comes to israels ethnic cleansing and aparthied?

To stop this continuing murder of Palestinian people and the continuing “wars” and collective punishment. Stop applying the western military strategies of internal regime change by making the lives of everyday people hell, killing their children, their elderly and their weak. Israel is not the victim it is the perpetrator of war many crimes.

United Nations turning a blind eye just demonstrates the one sided global Political structure and this is not acceptable. ACT NOW for a lasting peace in the region.

Israeli Jewish settler kills 81-year-old Palestinian

Settlers go unpunished for such crimes

An Israeli Jewish settler ran over an elderly Palestinian man on Wednesday evening in the highway leading to Bethlehem in occupied West Bank.
“It was clear that the Israeli Jewish settler intentionally ran over the elderly Palestinian as he had taken the side of the road where the man stood before crossing the road,” an eyewitness said.

An Israeli Jewish settler ran over an elderly Palestinian man on Wednesday evening in the highway leading to Bethlehem in occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) in Bethlehem said that the elderly Palestinian was hit by a speeding settler’s car and left him dead.

Palestinian sources identified the elderly Palestinian as Suleiman Hammad, 81, from the town of Al-Khader in the outskirts of Bethlehem.

Eyewitnesses said that the elderly Palestinian wanted to cross the road when the Israeli Jewish settler took the side of the road and hit him.

“It was clear that the Israeli Jewish settler intentionally ran over the elderly Palestinian as he had taken the side of the road where the man stood before crossing the road,” an eyewitness said.

Israeli settlers do not hesitate to run over Palestinians when they find any opportunity and they are encouraged to do so because none has ever been punished by the Israeli occupation authorities over such crimes.

Israeli forces have shot dead a 72-year-old Palestinian woman amid clashes across Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.

On Friday afternoon, Israeli troops fatally shot Thawarat Ashrawi as she drove her car into a petrol station in Halhul, a town in the Hebron-area of the West Bank.

Ashrawi’s family told Al Jazeera that she was simply at the petrol station to fill up her car.

The Israeli military, however, said the woman had driven her car directly at soldiers at the station, before she was shot.

Ashrawi was the second Palestinian to be killed by Israeli forces on Friday.

In Gaza, Israeli forces shot and killed 23-year-old Salameh Abu Jamaa, as dozens of Palestinians protested on the Israeli border in the Khan Younis area of the Strip’s south.

Clashes also took place in northern and central Gaza.

Israeli forces injured at least 38 protesters, including 29 with live ammunition, according to Ashraf Qidra, a spokesman for Gaza’s Ministry of Health.

Triggered by Israeli incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, protests against Israel’s ongoing occupation have spread throughout the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the besieged Gaza Strip.

Israeli soldiers have responded with force, using live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas and stun grenades.

OPINION: It’s time to challenge the status quo in Palestine

Since October 1, Israeli soldiers or settlers have killed at least 76 Palestinians, including bystanders, unarmed protesters, and alleged attackers. Ten Israelis have also been killed by Palestinians.

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Ezz Zanoun, a photographer at the clashes in central Gaza, said that “the ambulances didn’t get a chance to stop. They were picking up people, dropping them at the hospital and coming straight back to the protest”.

“The gas is raining down on us,” he said from the clashes by phone on Friday afternoon. “I can see people being shot right in front of me.”

Zanoun added that an Israeli soldier “yelled at us with a megaphone, threatening us. He said they would kill us if we didn’t go home”.

Bodies of murdered Palestinians are being returned by israel with organs missing

Israel ‘harvesting Palestinians’ organs’

The Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations (UN) says the Tel Aviv regime is harvesting the organs of Palestinians killed in clashes with Israeli forces in the occupied territories.

Riyad Mansour said in a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday that the bodies of the Palestinians killed by Israeli forces are “returned with missing corneas and other organs, further confirming past reports about organ harvesting by the occupying power.”

“A medical examination conducted on bodies of Palestinians returned after they were killed by the occupying power found that they were missing organs,” Mansour wrote in the letter.

The Palestinian envoy further protested Israel’s “persistent aggression against the Palestinian people” over the past month and the regime’s “insistence on use of violent force and oppressive measures.”

The issue of organ theft by Israel was first brought to the fore in a report published by Sweden’s most highly-circulated daily Aftonbladet in 2009.

US daily The New York Times also said in an August 2014 report that transplant brokers in Israel have pocketed enormous sums of money. Based on the Timesanalysis of major organ trafficking cases since 2000, Israelis have played a ‘disproportionate role’ in organ trafficking.

The Palestinians whom Mansour was referring to were killed amid tensions in the occupied territories, which have dramatically escalated in recent weeks.

The Israeli regime’s imposition of restrictions in August on the entry of Palestinian worshipers to the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) has become the lightning rod for the surge of recent confrontations.

According to the latest figures by the Palestinian Health Ministry, at least 74 Palestinians have lost their lives at the hands of Israeli forces since the beginning of October. At least 11 Israelis have also been killed during that period.

The bodies of the Palestinian victims are most often held in Israeli custody for long periods of time before they are returned to relatives.
